LUANG PRABANG was such an incredible experience for me. I just loved all the temples, mountains, rivers, Buddhas, monks, waterfalls, and water buffalo.  The jungle was so incredible and wild.

Luang Prabang is a Unesco Heritage site. It’s located on the Mekong and the Nam Khan Rivers.

I can’t do just one post about this amazing place. On a desk top computer (doesn’t show on my mobile version) my Instagram photo is on the right. It is the flight from Viet Nam to the airport in Laos. My first stop was the former Royal Palace, which is now a National Museum. Wat Ho Pha Bang temple is next to that.

Very close by is the amazing temple complex with Wat Xieng Thong. The Tree of Life is on one side of it. There’s a beautiful mosaic tiger and so many other decorations on it. Walking through the temple complex is so amazing. The stupas are all around the temples. Stupas are mound shaped and they contain relics or the remains of the Buddhist monks.

Here’s a few photos of the temples…..
